Presentazione

The MSc in Strategic Business Management is aimed at graduates who have an interest in developing an in-depth knowledge and a critical understanding of the key aspects of strategic business and management. In particular, those who are looking to pursue, advance or switch to a career in business management will benefit from this course.

You will develop a broad understanding of the most important concepts in management with a strategic perspective. De Broc prides itself on the depth and practical relevance of the knowledge delivered on its programmes by academics with practical experience. You will apply theoretical concepts and business models to real-life case studies, in a practice based environment.

The course is available as either full-time or part-time, and is delivered in an interactive way with learning taking place both in and outside the classroom environment. On-campus learning is supported by online resources, including the Financial Times, case studies, simulations, learning videos, reading materials, online testing and feedback.

Programma

Course structure:

Full-time and online students will study for one year, which is divided into two semesters and the summer period for the dissertation. Students will study three modules, each worth 30 credits; two modules, each worth 15 credits; and another module worth 60 credits, totalling 180 credits.

Part-time students will study for two years. Over two semesters in year one, students will study two modules, each worth 30 credits and two modules, each worth 15 credits. In year two over two semesters, students will study one module worth 30 credits and another module, worth 60 credits, totalling 180 credits.

The course will cover the following core modules:

Global Business Strategy and Leadership (30 credits)
Management of Business Operations (15 credits)
Performance Management and Reward (15 credits)
International Marketing Leadership (30 credits)
Financial Information for Business Decisions (30 credits)
Research Methods, Professional Development and Dissertation/Project (60 credits)
