Transformative Leadership for Sustainable Business is a Major of the Master in International Management. The programme is a first-level Degree Programme accredited by the Italian Ministry as a “Master Universitario di I livello” and provides students with at least 65 ECTS.


Overview

The Major in Transformative Leadership for Sustainable Business od the Master in International Management is a unique program aimed at young graduates motivated to become change agents leading the transformation for sustainable businesses contributing to a future within planetary boundaries.

The corporate and societal challenges posed by the current climate crises and derivative crises (energy, supply chain), urges companies to act. To create solutions for these global challenges, companies need to transform their business and to collaborate with multiple stakeholders: competitors, customers, suppliers, governmental agencies, and the public at large to make this transformation happen.

The program combines theory and practice, bridges academia and industry, and integrates hard and soft skills. The program focuses on equipping students with an in-depth understanding of the challenges at hand, the role of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for business, the essentials of running a business, the required knowledge to create innovative solutions, the potential pathways to a sustainable future, and the collaborative skills to make it happen.

The Major in Transformative Leadership for Sustainable Business exposes students to top academics and industry executives to provide participants with the essential leadership skills to address the complex global challenges from a system thinking perspective.

Students will learn through interactive lessons, live case discussions, industry projects, field trips and group work, thus acquiring the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to have a positive impact on business and society.

The Master in International Management –Major in Transformative Leadership for Sustainable Business is a first-level Degree Programme.

It is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education as a “Master Universitario di Primo Livello” and provides students with at least 65 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).

The Master’s Diploma and ECTS will be awarded to participants who have passed all mandatory exams and assessment tests.
